<p><strong>Nordisk samarbejde</strong></p>
<p>Microsoft og Bonnier Publications har udvidet deres samarbejde på det nordiske online-marked. Det nye indhold lanceres som kanaler i MSN Lifestyle, hvor også Microsofts andre online netværk såsom Messenger, Hotmail og Bing leverer trafik til. Ifølge pressemeddelelsen vil de nye kanaler ”udgøre en god platform for annoncører, som ønsker at nå ud til engagerede kunder i flere nordiske lande på en effektiv og skalerbar måde”.</p>
<p>De tre nye kanaler på MSN Lifestyle har fået navnene: MSN Style, MSN Mand og MSN Aktiv. Annoncesalget styres af Microsoft Advertising.</p>

<p><strong>Er det pengene værd?</strong></p>
<p>Betaler du for marketing med sociale medier? I så fald bør du tjekke dets værdi i forhold til både traffik og salg. Med andre ord: Hvor meget får du for det, du betaler? Her er Google Analytics et uundværligt redskab. Ved at anvende det såkaldte &#8220;advanced segments&#8221; kan du måle meget specifikt på dine forskellige indsatsområder &#8211; heriblandt marketing via sociale medier.</p>
<p><strong>Social Media og Google Analytics</strong></p>
<p>Uanset om du er aktiv på Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Youtube, Vimeo eller andre af de sociale medier, har du mulighed for at indsamle data på effekten af din markedsføring. Klik på My Site tab &gt; Advanced Segments. Klik derefter på +New Custom Segment og vælg et navn for den pågældende kampagne/indsats. Tryk derefter på +Add a dimension or metric. Tilføj &#8220;Source&#8221; og klik på &#8220;include&#8221; samt &#8220;matching regular expression&#8221;. Indtast derefter det pågældende sociale medie i feltet.</p>
<p><strong>Optimér din markedsføring &#8211; og spar penge</strong></p>
<p>Når du er færdig med at registrere dine indsatsområder, kan du løbende holde øje med, hvilke kanaler der er mest indbringende. Ud fra denne viden kan du optimere din markedsføring, så du lægger pengene og tiden dér, hvor du får mest igen. Du kan med andre ord spare både tid og penge ved at anvende Google Analytics på din social marketing.</p>

<p><strong>Canonical link tag</strong></p>
<p>Duplicate content kan forringe din ranking. Kategoriseringen opstår, hvis Google registrerer, at en hjemmeside har to eller flere sider med identisk indhold. Kun én side vil så registreres som reelt indhold, mens de øvrige defineres som dublicate content. Problemet er, at der somme tider kan være tale om forskellige links, der henviser til nøjagtigt samme indhold, men er sorteret i hver sin URL. I så fald er der en risiko for et duplicate content stempel, selvom der ikke bevidst er blevet kopieret indhold.</p>
<p>Problemet kan dog nemt løses ved at placere et såkaldt canonical link tag i den pågældende sides head section.</p>

<p><strong>Pas på dine udgående links</strong></p>
<p>Linking er godt &#8211; både indgående og udgående links er med til at opbygge dit netværk og give brugerne en god oplevelse. Der findes imidlertid links, som kan skade din SEO. &#8220;Bad neighbourhood links&#8221; vil sige, at du linker fra din egen hjemmeside til sites, der af søgemaskinerne er kategoriseret som skidt bekendtskab. Ved at linke til disse sider forringer du således din egen troværdighed &#8211; og dermed din google ranking.</p>
<p><strong>Hvilke sites er bad neighbourhood?</strong></p>
<p>Eksempler på &#8220;bad neighbourhood&#8221; sites kan være døde links, altså links, der fører til hjemmesider, som ikke længere eksisterer. Det kan også være såkaldte linkfarme, altså sites udelukkende med betalingsannoncer, det kan være spamsider eller blacklistede sider med indhold såsom gambling og porno. Også sider som benytter sig af cloaking, sider der er inficeret af virus eller malware samt sider der bryder andre regler, defineres som bad neighbourhood.</p>

<p>Danny Sullivan fra searchengineland.com, postede i går et længere indlæg omkring SEO anno 2011/2012. Ifølge Sullivan markerer 2011 en skillelinje. Efter i årevis at have gjort livet nemmere for alle, der arbejder med hjemmesider og SEO, har både Google og Bing taget beslutninger, som besværliggør SEO betydeligt. Som de største kritikpunkter nævner Sullivan, at begge søgemaskiner tilbageholder data omkring linking og søgeord. Sullivan opfordrer til protest: &#8220;Mention it in blog posts. Mention it in tweets. Bring it up at conferences. Don’t let it die.&#8221;</p>
